Dave grew up in Napa, California. He excelled athletically, becoming an All-American collegiate athlete. Dave played professional football in the 1970's for Hank Stram and the New Orleans Saints, as an offensive tackle, protecting Archie Manning. He ended his football career with the Denver Broncos.
After stepping out of pro-football and moving from the active world of professional athletics into a sedentary job, combined with the serous back injury incurred from a serious parachuting accident, he found it difficult to stay physically fit. Motivated by the fact the average life span of an ex-NFL athlete was only 53 years of age, Dave developed a unique fitness program that can be done in only ten minutes. This method of exercise also allows anyone to build strength without putting compression on the spine.
Today, Dave is known as Americas Fitness Coach®. Through his company Fitex Solutions people of all ages are educated, motivated, and equipped to get and stay physically fit, using his patented Ten Minute Exercise Program called FIT10TM.
Dave has presented and lectured, for over 30 years, to corporations and professional organizations throughout the United States, motivating and challenging busy business professionals to take better care of their most valuable asset—their body. Dave has also been featured many times on radio and television, and on several infomercials including numerous appearances on QVC.
Dave and his wife Melinda live in Marietta, Georgia and have two adult children.
